2008 Space Race Wrapup!

Nobody was left behind at this year's Space Race with approximately 2,700 riders breezing through the Southeast Texas countryside on a beautiful Spring day.  We had riders at all riding levels at every route from the 20-mile all the way through the 100-mile route, and everything else in between. The Space Race spirit committee, welcomed riders in at the finish line with clapping, congratulations, and lots of cheering.  Riders enjoyed hamburgers, drinks, cookies, and cherry pies at the end.  It was a Space Race to remember!

We would like to thank everybody who helped especially the wonderful volunteers from Space City Cycling including Paul and Mona Keegan, Tom McClane, Jake Propp, Karmann Cochran, and so many others.  Thank you again for all your help!  We couldn't have done it without you!
